Population: Adults with cirrhosis of any etiology, clinically significant portal hypertension, and hepatocellular carcinoma with total tumor volume of at least 5 cm³ who are candidates for locoregional treatment, with no baseline or previous venous thromboembolism. Patients with Child-Pugh class C liver dysfunction, recent portal hypertension-related bleeding, severe thrombocytopenia, or current anticoagulation are excluded.
