Population: Adults with histologically confirmed, measurable locally advanced or metastatic renal cell carcinoma, including clear-cell and non-clear-cell histologies with or without sarcomatoid features, who have received no prior systemic therapy for advanced disease. The randomized population has IMDC intermediate- or poor-risk disease, ECOG performance status 0-2, and available archival tumor tissue; favorable-risk patients may enter a separate observational cohort.
